On Wednesday, March 20, former Fountain-Fort Carson High School standout Aiyana Mitchell’s current collegiate team the Vanderbilt Commodores won 72-68 against the Columbia Lions in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Blacksburg, Virginia, this was the first game against the Columbia Lions during the championship.

The Vanderbilt Commodores’ next game will take place on Friday, March 22 at 5 p.m. in Blacksburg, Virginia against Baylor Lady Bears.
